A HYMN FOR THE

QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE 2002

With words by Gordon Nisbett, a gifted member of our congregation.

Gordon also wrote a special hymn for the Millenium  -  we are proud to share with you his latest offering. . .

GOLDEN JUBILEE

Tune: Morning Glory

1.
In homestead and in cottage,
Wherever Britons be,
Proclaim ! "God save our Queen",
And bless her Jubilee.
At school, at work, at leisure,
Where there is heartfelt glee,
Cry out ! "God save our Queen",
And bless her Jubilee.

2.
In Town Hall or in market,
Wherever speech is free,
Declare ! "God save our Queen",
And bless her Jubilee.
In church, in way-side chapel,
Where worshippers will be,
Sing, all ! "God save our Queen",
And bless her Jubilee.

3.
With joyous mind and spirit,
At one in unity,
Affirm ! "God save our Queen",
And bless her Jubilee.
With thankful words and feelings,
Perchance - on bended knee,
Pray, all ! "God Save Our Queen",
And Bless Her Jubilee.
